Dragana Alfirevic- performer

                                

 

 

Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1976.

She was involved and educated in theatre and acting since 1989.

In the period 1995-98 she was granted the scholarship of Fund for an Open Society, which helped her to develop projects as well as to obtain continuous training.

In 1997 co-founded Craft Theatre, with Dejan Garbos, Rodrigo de Carvalho and Vedran Vucic.

In 2004 graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia within the BODY UNLIMITED Program. 

Organizing and holding workshops for professionals and non-professionals; she is particularly interested in arts as an engine for changes in the society.

In 2005 she is dedicated to solo performance and merging forms between performing arts and theatre/dance. In this area she is interested in research of the possibilities of spreading one’s human resources and communication through work on stage. She is co-initiator of several initiatives for theatre and dance in Balkans and in Europe. Actively collaborates with individuals and organizations worldwide and mostly interested in spreading her knowledge and learning. Speaks Serbo-Croatian, Bulgarian, French, and Portuguese language.
